This landscape was etched in me long ago, forming the backdrop for experiences, discoveries and adventures that I now remember as some of my best childhood memories. And every time I come back here, I feel like I can relive all that joy and beauty as it is preserved in each wave, in the fishing boat that breaks the morning silence, and in the fresh sea breeze. It's funny how a place can become what seems like a physical extension of our own inner landscape. Or maybe it's the other way around. Perhaps it is the places that impact us when we are young that mark the shape of our being. Either way, we are inextricably connected to the scenes of our childhood.
